BBC: Stella Papamichael writes "Lewis' fantasy is beautifully realised in a vast array of colourful characters and majestic scenery. Aslan the Lion - who guides the children in a war against the Witch - is a marvel of CGI and voiced with great warmth and vigour by Liam Neeson."

Seattle Times' Moira MacDonald writes "...Adamson's "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe," helped along by Henley's shining eyes, finds a little enchantment of its own. You don't have to be a child to appreciate this movie, just old enough to enjoy fairy tales again."
